Hey all
This thread is to showcase Toonland Assets for 2019, which has the theme: Sandy Fields.

Skyboxes, Terrain, Grasses, Trees, and various Models.

While the assets will be available in various separate categories, they will eventually be combined into one pack.



Now available in store:
Grasses
Skybox #1
Terrain
Fences
Buildings

Pack

But better to hold off till all items are uploaded and combined as one Sandy Fields pack - it will be way cheaper, and with the benefits of any later additions coming for free

@reliquia As always I love your cartoon packs. But is it possible you can do a medieval\fantasy cartoon pack?
for example some dead trees, graveyard gates and tombstones.

First up - Grasses.
There are six variants, 1 plain grass, 4 with various pastel color flowers, and 1 with all flowers combined.
These are not available separately, but only as one pack.

Next up - Skybox #1
This skybox has a ground plane with distant mountains, and can thus be used with the terrain turned off. The color scheme matches the Sandy Fields Terrain textures (coming soon).

Some pics:









I have plans to add more variants of this skybox - various different cloud formations, and at different elevations, and each variation with no mountains - but not till after all other models are uploaded. They take forever to develop These will become a pack of their own.

Developed using Terragen 4, test rendered on my dev machine, final renders in PixelPlow.

In store now but would be better to wait for the Sandy Fields pack

Also pretty sure Belidos has some medieval stuff up already. He does great work, so worth a look to see if it fits your needs.

Using Prebens variation map that ships with GG creates some nice effects.

Hi all

Bit more info on the Fences.
There are 18 models sharing two textures. Textures are 2048 for optimal clarity, you can reduce if required.
- The text on the signs and entrance can be changed to what ever you want by editing the _color texture.
- The first 5 requests I will do it for you - just PM me and we can talk

Next up - Buildings

Two sheds, and two barns using the same textures.
There are four color versions for the barn walls for a bit of variety.
The barns can be sectioned off using the various barn rails to suit you preferences.
The doors are static, but may add animated version at later date.

@DannyD, thanks for the kind words and also your interest - appreciated

I was waiting to get all of it in the store.

Still want to add animated doors and gates to what is already up there. Also had plans to add trees, inside clutter, outside stuff like rocks and pathways and the like, which is either in dev or not even started yet - lol

The plan was that any media I create for the store this year was going to be for Sandy Fields project, but TBH I am considering just spending most of my time on custom media for my game as the interest level here seams pretty much non-existent.

I may do that and add stuff for Sandy Fields when I need a break from game dev.

Anyhow I decided to add the pack now, so it will be a great saving as things get added.

Hmmmmm Characters:
Yeah, I would love to do characters, but never even tried - just the thought of animation sorta does my head in a bit.

But you never know - of course you do have me thinking now just what kind of character would fit Toonland......
