Hello everyone.
I searched the forum and elsewhere for guides to explain how to import a .fbx character with animations.
In my search I found this tool: FBX2GG.
Is it still necessary? Or did GameGuru automate the import?
Because I imported a character, but the animation doesn't work properly.
If I use it as an enemy, it remains still, but if I use it as a playing character, it hints at the movement of its animation. How can I solve this problem?

more information about the model would be helpful, how many polys? how many bones? GG has a limit on polycount and bone count, instead of using the importer try manually adding the character you can get a bit of insight here https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/219897?page=2#msg2607795 and also here https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/219217#msg2594098

I have read several posts on the forum and also on steam. I always find conflicting opinions and never a single working guide.
I have attached the file I would like to use.
Unfortunately I'm not an expert and I'd like to learn.

That's not easy. If you can lua, you have a good chance to run your own animations as you want. However, if you already have problems with the language like I do, things get more difficult. I've provided a couple of characters for download, all rigged and animated with mixamo. With a simple, matching script you can use it as a zombie.
Here you can look at it and download it for testing if you want. And by the way welcome ....

I purchased FBX2GG and it has helped me a lot. If you want to purchase it, you will likely need to send a PM to Rafhalzer. I think I bought it for about $35 to $40.

Mixamo basically puts bones in the character and rigs them, then FBX2GG sets it all to work in GG with the animations that GG uses.

I have found that trying to get the characters to work any other way requires advanced scripting skills or advanced model making skills. I'm not so good at those, so I had to buy FBX2GG.

So the Mixamo animations can't be used? After the procedure you described to me, will I still use the animations already present in GG?
Excuse me for my too many questions, but I would like to understand.

I think the animations that Mixamo makes are not the same as the ones in GG, but using FBX2GG makes it work in GG, if you follow all of Rafhalzers instructions.

The mixamo animations can absolutely be used, and with no issues, you just have to get them onto your model and list them correctly in the .fpe. That's what the appendanim() system in the .fpe's for the new FBX importing, and the csi_anim lines in the .fpe are for.

@Nat_leeroy FBX is still not quite right in GG but with a bit of tweaking and changing to an X file the model is fine all I did was use FBX2GG the steps to convert are in the original link I posted above, if you would like this converted model please PM me your email address, I will not post it here I don't know whom it belongs too.

I don't have the frames quite right but it was just a 10 min job I added an idle animation from mixamo too just needs a little polishing getting the frames right

Meanwhile, I want to thank everyone for your support.
I'm continuing to do my tests. Watching this video seems to be possible to use more .fbx files to animate my character.
In fact I managed to import a character from Mixamo and give him an initial animation.
The problem now arises, how can I connect the other animations to the actions that my character must perform (movement, attack, death)?
We definitely need a .lua file that determines the AI. I opened existing files, but they are very confusing.
Has anyone managed to build a character in this mode?
