Over past few days been working on a project in GG. Everything had been fine until today.
The problem is that when placing new entities and applying a script, the scripts have stopped working on the new entities, even older scripts.

I am using Notpad++ and was updated the smorning.
But given that, no scripts from the script bank are working in any new entity.

Has anyone got a solution to this NEW problem.

you need a unique script maybe for each entity, for example

you need to name the, always put a number after the name of script if they are controlling things in your game individually.

inits

note01, note2, note3 or whatever you called them

and functions

note01, note02, note03 or whatever you called them

and save them from notepad++ as those titles in the filename.

The scripts should then work.

Hope that helps.

Maybe unrelated but also try closing GG completely and re-opening. As scripts will fail to work over time if you have been using GG for hours in a busy level consuming RAM.

Came back on to GG a few minutes ago to try a few other things and from you guys.
Well it is all working again. Very strange.
started a new level and put barrel with script to give Prompt at 200. Tried the same thing many times earlier and it didn't work, but now it is working.
Just a computer glitch I guess.

You may have encountered a bug with the prompt command. I've seen it in the past and it has caused a lot of unneeded script work! Sometimes prompt fails to display. Rebooting GG fixes it, but most the time you don't realise and start adjusting your code as you think it is broken A most annoying bug as your debugging can end up very hit and miss.

General rule of working with GG. If something seems weird, save (as a new name, to be sure your not saving an issue) and reboot it.
