Hello,

I did standalone from my game and I added forceloadtestgameshaders to setup-ini. in settings.fx I changed values in "Control how PBR is presented" RealisticVsCool (0.90), AmountExtractLight (0.90). but in a standalone, the change won't show up. how can i get these and other changes to standalone?

Make the changes in your Game Guru setup and test them (not standalone).

Then when you’re happy they work as you want, copy all of the files that end .blob from your GG effectbank\reloaded file into your standalone effectbank\reloaded folder.

These are the compiled shaders that will then be picked up when next run the standalone exe.

Cheers.

Is there a change in game guru when you run the level in the editor? What are you expecting to change? Did you recompile the shaders there first before copying all of the .blob files to the standalone overwriting those that are there?

Your other option is just to recreate the standalone.

Cheers.

I made a change in the editor and then saved the level and then created a standalone. how did you mean recompile?

Change forceloadtestgameshaders = 2 in setup.ini before running your level in the editor. Then create a new standalone or move the .blob files. This recompiles the shaders to pick up the changes you have made.

Cheers.

I didn't know about this possibility that they could be recompiled. but no change. I'm adding images from editor and standalone. I only use REAL TIME lighting + dynamic lights, no static.

in STANDALONE

I'm honestly now not sure what you were trying to do here as you've mostly turned PBR off now

You don't need forceloadtestgameshaders in standalone.

But anyway, glad you got it fixed to your satisfaction.

Cheers.

I also confused because the textures that I have in ebe builder have been transformed into NORMALIZATOR on PBR
