people in the game core or else

in my opinion the totally red screen when the plates soffer some damage is annoying and out of date, again in my opinion
so i created an another one, a new screen so you guys could implement in the game core engine or in smoe code way
if you will of course
i put here the 3 png files of small damage and totley [mod edit] vision
again instead of that totally red screen
i do not invent the gunpowder, just go along with what i see in recent games, but i created this one is no copy so people could use commercially, even the game engine core development guys if they want
hope you like it
you can use in singliar or together over imposee them ( stack them)

Nice but as far as i know theyd be no good for what you want them to do, if o remember right the red death screen is not an image its a shader effect.

Theyre very good.

Could ptobably be used as an alternative by someone who can script, maybe a script yo disable the default and then show this as a sprite when the player is below a certain health. I might have a play over the weekend and see if i can come up with a basic script for you.

nice
how about something like this?

put the attached in your scriptbank and set to an always active entity
- adjust the animspeed property to make the images change faster or slower (i used a value of 200 in the video)

works with the heartbeat sound by default and flashes more quickly & uses just the more extreme images as you drop lower in HP

no problem, this is just a simple script as much of the work is already there in the engine to detect if the player is below 100HP and honestly it would take me longer to make the images than it would the script
with a bit of tweaking on the numbers you could combine all the pictures into the sequence if you wanted - just remember to keep an eye on the RAM usage as full screen images can be deceptive when unpacked.

ok the only way is to make the images indexed cover with transparent pixel i can do that but compromises the image quality and i do not know if the engine can load indexed color images ( gif)

this the best i can do to reduce size

i will put a dark noise version also
but again the only wat to make the transparent png file smaller is to put him in indexed coles
