is there a way to use the row that doesn't just snap to the sides and be able to freely place on the grid like how the cube or column does. would like to build stairs with the row instead of simply using the cube i believe it would save some time and help the work flow.

Maybe with this tool here it may be easier to make what you want.

All objects are based off a cube or the grid. They are locked in there positions as to how the were constructed for use. Or you have to use a lot of the smaller objects to construct what you need. (very time consuming)
