any reason why we can't make doors static?

Before you place them on the map, ie, when they are attached to mouse, press Y

Red = static
Green = not static.

AWESOME! thank you! any idea on how to stop light from shining though doors after light mapping?

Make them thicker when you make them. There's a minimum distance between each side of the mesh that the light mapper needs to detect something that blocks light, most doors that have been made for gameguru aren't thick enough.

I don't know if scaling will work, never tried, i think it has to be made that way.

looks like blender would be the best way to go i guess
