HI all ,
Don't know if this idea exist but,,
i was just wandering, would it not be nice to have an extra tab / button inside the editor were one can make and modify your game menus and buttons, and background pictures for all the loading and game menu screens. some thing like Styleguru, but Inside the editor. And then when you are finished with your menus, there must be a choice when you click the launch button , that gives you the option to test Game, or to test game with menu. then you can easily see how your game screen and menu buttons would look like, with out first save it as a stand alone , it would be much easier and faster to test and see your loading menus this way, and then when you do save your map, the menu screens would also then be saved with the games first level / map. also then when you load your fist level / map you also have your menus saved with it, and again you could easily modify it with out saving every time your map as a stand alone to see how your menus and loading screens would look.

Any thoughts on this .?

Pcs.

A menu creator editable on the fly was something Lee told me he was going to add about 4 years ago but it never transpired and with all that still needs doing I wouldn't expect it anytime soon but you could always post it on GitHub ..

Yeah construct 2 (2D game tool) makes it simple to create this kind of thing. Just put sprites on screen where you want them using layers (think Photoshop) and easily code it along with the rest of the game with a easy to use visual editor. Everything is scaled to the screen resolution automatically at runtime.

But for Game Guru, would be nice - but will likely never happen....

The visual editor from Fusion 2.5 (and Contruct 2) is an awesome powerful tool.
I wish something same this would be in GameGuru, than GG would be really a powerful (but slow(Engine)) tool ... LOL
Old school FPS fan, DOOM!!! Why GG not working on my AMIGA 500?
