could you try google maps / street view?
that way you can get the exact angle / texture you want
if i still had my VR set up i could do it in that but unfortunately my new house is too small for VR

This side please. No stone wall in front of it and as straight on as possible with the highest image size you can.
Existing Texture.

Thank you.

Unfortunately street view has the stone wall obstructing most of the view.

It would certainly be an interesting trip for someone but in the name of convenience and efficiency I'd just grab a few look alikes from textures.com and have at it. Most of the ruins is made out of beige-ish brick and has very little specific ornate details that aren't also present in other buildings from that period.

Is this any better? Or did it come from here?

If not, maybe you could pay a small fee

I'd personally use photos as reference but rebuild the texture from scratch to ensure it can be lit realistically and has spot on alignment. Using photos directly as textures is never ideal.

Relatively true yet the games I enjoyed visually the most where often photosourced entirely as well. It is starting to fade from triple A titles though. I photosource nearly everything but then again, I'm not exactly a professional modeler

@GubbyBlips:

That picture will work fine. Got a 2560 x 2560 image out of it. Thank you. Looks good. Just going to re UV map the model now.
