I agree with synchromesh, a small level is always a good idea to get things started ,I have a couple of level packs I have never used as I get frustrated working parts out

Didn't realise it was a problem ?
I have a few packs that come with small fpm files and " Demo map supplied " comment will always boost sales I would imagine .

Hi Belidos,

What software do you use for modelling and texturing ?? I really like the low poly models your producing and the clean look of them. Congrats!

I use Blender to model, and Substance Painter for the texturing.

One model, two different texturing styles, it's hard to believe they're the same model.

The total difference between flat colour and hand painted stylised textures is a huge contrast.

Not sure which i prefer, torn between the two to be honest. I love the crisp clean lines of the flat coloured one, but i also love the way the highlights on the stylized give it and extra bevelled look, it gives it more a organic look if you get what i mean.

Hi Belidos,

Hand painted stylised textures for me every time for this look, the clean flat colour is OK but looks like a prototype rather than the finished article IMHO.

Good stuff though!

I've attached a quick map file that shows how the pieces fit together, how to make the background black, and how to setup a third person character.

Yeah, love the style of the model, and also ike both textures. May as well put both up and give the end-user the choice.

Great work Belidos.

The isometric RPG Construction kit: Egyptian Temple is now live on the store:

https://www.tgcstore.net/pack/11161 $19.99

This pack contains a collection of models and script to create your own Isometric Egyptian Temple game.

The pack consists of:

Scripts:
- A complete UI HUD including survival aspects with thirst, hunger, healing potions, food, and drink.
- Improved door and key scripts (fixes the issue with third person and player visibility),
- Scripts to attack and brak walls and chests.

Models:
37x Wall and Floor segments
30x Fixture items
5x Collectable items
13x Miscellaneous clutter items
8x Furniture items

Each of the wall and floor segment pieces conform to the grid snap system of GameGuru accessed by pressing B twice in the editor.

Note: This kit is low poly and low resolution (textures are between 512x512 and 1024x1024) designed specifically for an isometric viewed game, they may not be suitable for use in games that have a camera position closer to the entities.

Note 2: As an example of how to put the pieces together i have uploaded a demo map to this post.

Primary Desktop:
i7 7700,k NV1070 8GB, 16GB 3200mhz memory, 1x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.

Secondary Desktop:
i5 4760k, NV960 2GB, 16GB 2333mhz memory, 1x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.

Primary Laptop:
i5, NV1050 4GB, 8GB memory, 1x 1TB HDD, Win10.

Secondary Laptop:
i3, Intel 4000 series graphics, 6GB memory, 1x 500gb HDD, Win8.1.
