I will be adding stuff to this thread all the time so if mods can ensure is stay open will be good.

T o start thread here is a Custom Prefab Building from WW2 Chateau_A


it has the door frame so all you need is to add the classic door from classic files in GG.
when you select the item to use in GG just click on the ground the look around it will be
placed on the ground some were close by . It is not shown when try to place on the map
as the software from BOTRings is off center when it converts files.

4 Sci- Fi Custom Design Prefabs..



there is a door in the folder do not delete it you can either us it and overlay
over the present door frame or simply add the classic door from GG fixtures doors section. note the door
in GG fixtures doors section opens and closes slower than the one I have provided and the audio open and
close time length sound does not match up with the time of the door opening and closing, so decide yourself
witch door you prefair.

I was under the impression these have all been officially converted already, in the free classic dlc pack.

If not, then great work!

Just double check that all the ones you are converting are tgc owned ones, because any of the packs created by fpsc community members need permission for you to convert and dustrubute.

Hopefully there wont be any issues.

I would not have bothered posting today... I only post what I do not see converted or its pointless.

I have checked every folder in GG and none of this there...

But if people want it its here if not I will stop posting no problem m8

I have only posted what I see in the Basic v120 of FPS classic 9 no pack stuff has been posted as yet.

when it comes to the packs I will need to know who the artists were so I can contact them if possible
if a mod could let me know how to fine out the artists are as the packs do not state this information.

they are the basic models... when fpsc was classed as free like the characters is did was ok to post.

I would send Lee an email. The prefab should be fine, but the entities need clarification for distribution.

He may say it is fine.

Hi there,

Its perfectly OK to do this with the stock segments media from FPSC. In fact, its pretty awesome.

As was previously mentioned, third party model packs would be another matter altogether, as copyright would be held by the original artist.

I was under the impression these have all been officially converted already, in the free classic dlc pack.

When i passed the conversions over to lee I left out segments only because the entity snapping system was not good enough for working with them. This was before the EBE and I was really hoping Lee would adapter better editing tools to the entity editor so we could use the 1000s of segments FPSC already has for us. It also took a lot of work to bring those all to GG.

The EBE came about and i was a bit disappointed because it had no ability to use original meshes making all walls floors and ceilings flat and square. Which is unfortunate for detailed segments like what we had in the FPSC packs and stock.

I put a couple videos together quite a long time ago of the progress using segments in GG but they really did require some more tools for the entity editor... that unfortunately were given only to EBE. Which i personally dont like using as again its limiting. The system i was hoping to put together would allow for well over 20 textures and unique meshes including organic ones and curved ones.

Some of the videos during the early stage tests, that i dropped since the community didnt seem keen on having segments and wanted whatever the EBE was going to be instead. OF which turned out being even more limiting than the segment editor in FPSC.

What you have done by making prefabs of these segments is a great idea. Because working with the current Game Guru entity editor is a complete and utter nightmare, to put pieces together. No draw mode exits and the widget just is not useful.

Thanks for the confirmation on this matter, I have stuck so far only to the stock v120 FPSC
When it comes to the packs stuff I will get permission from the original artists were I can, and post their
proof of agreement along with any of their work they have agreed to be converted to use in GameGuru.

I am glad you are satisfied with the work I have done so far. I have 50% of the Classic v1.20 converted
but I have to check with what is already in the classics section DLC, that Teabone gave to Lee, before
I post some more.

I remember these videos you did m8 why I was surprised none of what I have posted so far was
in the classics section content you supplied for the DLC. I hope I have not tread on your work
why posting this content m8, that was not my intension. I just thaught there is still quite a lot
of stuff I have done not in the DLC so why I decided to post.

Anyways, I am happy to keep posting the converted stuff I have done once I have triple checked
there are no issues with them in GG.


Can I get a mods help on 'loading bay' segments' i can not remember if this was FPSC 9 or 10
I don't currently have 10 installed as I only just restarted the conversions again, so can not
check for myself atm.

Not at all! I think what you are doing is amazing. Having them as building parts is much easier to work with than just small segment squares. Game Guru certainly needs more content like this. As the EBE just doesn't cut it for most of us.

The only loading bay stuff I was aware of was in Model Pack 3
This is available on the FPSC Githum Repository but is missing a lot of assets as permission was not given for all of the included models. Its a case of what you find in there is all you can use.

The room sections are double thickness an inner and outer skin with different
textures, so I have created both lots so you can have double the entities with different
textures.

inverted with different textured segments so you can truly build walk through buildings.

I will be also adding Full Prefabs 1, 2, 3 , 4. 5 high buildings. something for everyone to look forward too.

As promised some walls with windows segments ww2 section......

Turn snapping on by press B on keyboard until you see snap in bottom of gameguru boarder,
for best results. To snap together place the window segment first, then snap the newer segment
to that as it can be a bit fiddly to get right but it works with effort.

keep the contents in the folders I have already created.

I will be moving on to ww2 Door & Wall segments next...

Very nice work devlin m8, I have converted all the FPSC Classic Prefab Buildings
you fancy a pbr test on 1 to see what they come out like?
