Hi Guys ,
just tried the latest update from today..
4 different old maps that were ok before...
now new problems...
- some textures now look way weird and blotchy
- surface lighting on many objects now doesnt show at all if ambient light is down.
- some tunnel objects are now impassable...as if invisible object is there.
- terrain is way too shiny now when set to highest.

runs smoother tho and great fps

my setting
vsync = 0
pbroverride = 0

There have been no public updates today, are you running the internal beta build?

It did say " January fixer " this morning on the splashscreen
But I just rebooted and did get a little queued update so not sure what that was ?
Checking mine

I can certainly attest to this one. I have been having a time and a half getting the building DLC to download without weird issues. It seems to be on my side but what it is I have yet to ascertain. I have images on the media update thread.

The Beta had a Label change on the splash screen I think but that was all ?
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Strange … So in your Steam library you have it showing … GameGuru [Beta] right ?

No - it used to until the last Public Preview, now there is no beta listed at all.

Sounds like you haven't got beta installed … You may have to re-select it
It should be the top one " beta-Game Guru beta " you may have to email Lee for another key if you didnt make a note of the last one ..
Do you have access to the Beta forums ?
I don't see you on there ..

If you come out of beta and switch to another version, before you can go back into beta you need to re-enter your beta key or beta doesn't show in the list.

Primary Desktop:

OK, can't find my key so emailed Lee - Thanks for the help.

My steam Listing shows 'NONE - Opt out of all beta programs.



Interestingly, when the last PP update came out I didn't do anything. Havn't opened Steam till this thread was started.

The wonders of Modern Computing lol.
