Hi...
I did not suspect that a simple cough can burden me so much, but he did. My doctor told me to distract myself so I would not panic if I got breathless. I manage that pretty well with the modeling, so I do as long as I can.
But now on the topic. Years ago I had some model packs for the FPSC. Some people may still know that. I want to pick up and modernize the old stuff again. I have already started the first topic: foundry

It was one of the first model packs of mine. I already started the restoration .....

I hope that some of those stuff can use ....

Thanks.

I will take the time. It'll take a while to get everything the way I want it. The plan is to have a foundry hall with a few related utensils such as crucibles, foundry sand, melting furnace, molds and stuff like tongs and stuff like that. Maybe 1 to 2 foundry workers. Let's see .....

This is the elaborate part of a hall crane.

He is finished now

News from the construction site. The foundry building is almost finished. The roofers still have to cover the roof and the windows are still missing. Also missing is a gate and a door. There is still a bit to do.

The greenhouses in the background also have to be demolished. I'll try to grab them carefully together and then put them down for download (probably tomorrow)

So, I have to continue now...

Thanks.

I'll probably be busy with the foundry for a while longer. The building is now finished. It has a gable with gate and a gable without a gate. Then there is a middle part and can be extended as desired.
I have just completed the smelting furnace and the right-hand part. I have something to change, but he is ready. Now only the operator console is missing and for the back wall I have to come up with something else. Then it goes on with the molds and the molding sand with dispenser and container to .... I can not think of anything anymore.

Finally finished: the smelting furnace
It consists of 3 parts. I did that because of the overview and the texturing is also easier. The 2 workers are prototypes. If I still feel like doing it, I'll make some NPC's out of it. But now I have to deal first with the other utensils ...

Forgot to mention : your NPC are really great ( the free Medieval NPCs you gave us are amazing and fit very well in your Mills/Hills, Ship and Harbour and Medieval Castle packs). I'm quiet sure that NPCs packs of such a quality would be much appreciated in the store.

First of all, many thanks for the encouraging comments.

I only came to answer now. But I'm very busy with the little things that are to be added to the foundry. In between, I tinker to a few workers. I will report about it shortly.

Gate and door are ready. The wall lights are ready for use.

A short view through the hall ...

New sand molds...

a few tools ...

... and a roller conveyor that is not quite finished will enrich the set

So, it continues ...

Hi..
As promised, here are the first foundry workers with preliminary animations.
Lol They have to test first, if everything is tuned.

I will provide you with idle, talking, walking, attack and dying animations. Since they are civilians, I do not give them a weapon in their hands. The truth is, I'm not really able to give people guns. Maybe there's someone who can rename the bones of the Mixamo animations so I can just use them. Then I could animate just about any humane model for GG.

Thank you for the comments.

I finished another part for the foundry. A molding sand dispenser with supply pipes, a few metal boxes, a few molds and some tongs. Now only a few outdoor facilities (factory chimney, etc.) and possibly wall lights are missing. A few dirt overlays, maybe ...
Your opinion about the whole thing would be nice, and maybe a few suggestions for things that you think are still missing. After all, it has been almost 20 years since I was last in an iron foundry.

@ granada Thanks a lot
I imagine that I am finished with the foundry. As a final, only the factory chimney was left.

So, now I'll approve a few beers and herald the weekend with their sound ....

cheers

Products from the foundry. With these objects, I seamlessly move on to another old pack. At that time I called it carpentry / butchery. There are also some interesting objects. Here are the first objects that are finished. A butcher troughs and a meat grinder.

I've finished a little bit now. Actually, I wanted to expand the topic, but the interest is limited. I do not know if it's worth continuing. Even with the foundry, I do not know if it is worth uploading them in the store. It is always a big effort to carry out an upload for me. After all, there are good 50 objects again. Well, what the hell. Here is the latest from the butcher. Of course, the slasher character is not part of that ....

Incidentally, the stuff should also get a bloody part

I think the foundry looks great, and in my opinion would do well at the store.

What I like about the foundry is it's different, not the same old, same old stuff.

A lot of cool ideas can come from that pack.

Thank you..

Yes, you could do a lot with the foundry because the hall can be extended as desired.

But now to the Butcher: Something sausage or a ham complacent? The butcher shop fills up slowly.

Although it is a bit lonely at the moment, this does not stop me from doing a little bit of tinkering. The sausage filler is ready Still missing a few things. A big meat grinder would be good, a few knives and a refrigerated counter ....

Looks good! I'm also pretty sure you are among the first to make such a detailed butcher shop pack for any engine. Especially the sense of realism over something exaggerated/horror like is cool.

Thanks Wolf ...

Yes ... you could do something like that. By day he is the friendly butcher who does not care what, but when it gets dark he mutates into a serial killer. Since then just something else depends on the ladder. So, ... The ladder with the pig is already set up.

Yes, at least I try. I've come to the point of making most of the textures myself. There you have to pay attention to so many things, I also learn a lot. It's fun, otherwise I would not do that to me anymore.

@ granada Thank you Dave. I knew that I could rely on you. I do not get much comments. It could be that the parts are total garbage .
Well, I'm starting slowly with the carpenter workshop. It will not be that extensive. But there is always room for a table saw. There are only a few things left to change, then the saw is ready.
