Hi.

I just taken another look to see how much GameGuru has improved since last time I tried and noticed if I stand behind the enemy, it can still shoot me.
I did slow down the movement of the enemy because it was just too fast for me so I was able to conveniently walk behind the enemy and se him as he turn around to shoot me in slow motion. It was cool at first, but turned out, he didn't had to turn toward me, I got shot while I was behind him....

What I was thinking is to create a slow down effect something similar to Max Payne, figured it must be as simple as slow the movement and animation of the enemy down but it doesn't effect the AI I guess or whatever is controlling the shot.

The AI has changed considerably over the last few months.

Yeah but it is till a bug right? Even if it "normal" considering however it works under the hood it is something that surely need to improve. What if you want a slow enemy in your game, one that moves and walks and turns slowly, yet you get a bullet even if you are behind it...

Thanks for the reply though.

Thanks for the tip, changing the view angle to a smaller value did solve the problem.

No not really .. Your trying to slow anims down and movement to a point that in reality the ai has already detected you and shoots .. The anim adjustment is to get it all in sync not vice versa so in my honest opinion its not a bug .

To get what you need you will need to modify the Combat core scripts ... The speed calls are in there.
Like I said the AI has changed … It may well have worked before with single contained scripts for each character but now the script points to another and so on ..
