Hey Guys,
just bought GameGuru a few months ago and having a lot of fun with the engine.

One thing I have noticed working with gameguru is the lack of a speed tree system. Coming from using the Farcry 5 map editor is you can add tree's in abundance with just a brush like GameGurus grass.

DK production has a great video on just changing out the grass dds. file for a tree file to get huge amounts of tree's with hardly no fps loss. The only thing about it is the size of the tree is smaller than a normal tree.

I was wondering if the mod masters at this forum could change the size of the tree's to get awesome forest in the matter of minutes.

Here's the video

You can already do that. When the tree is on the cursor press the i key and you can spray trees.

You can change the size of the trees by placing one then clicking on it and selecting scale, then you can pick it up again by selecting extract, and use i to spray them.

TGC won't add any 3rd party tools as that would change the license of the software, it might add things like royalties and other commercial aspects you don't want

I remember seeing that and if I am correct, you need to keep the trees pretty small so you can live with no collision.

Game Guru's foliage is certainly in need of an update though. Many of the objects cause considerable slowdown and of course they look a bit old these days. It can only improve GG if this old media was updated and improved upon, especially if the rogue trees that slow the system are fixed
