Hi..

I have built a wooden box that opens when you approach it and let all the objects you can pick up in the two rooms float first and then slide into the box after a short while. It can be used excellently in fantasy games, but it also looks great in modern shooter games. Sometimes it does not work, I do not know why. Then only the box opens. Also, I can not get the box to close again when I walk away. Maybe someone can enlighten me ......

It would be nice if someone has a solution to the problem.

...and here the WOODCRATE

Hi..

He .. Thank you both. So many comments did not come.
There are actually few things that deal with this topic.

@ J_C The script is awesome. I only shortened the distance a bit. In my opinion, the moment of surprise is greater. Thank you for this..

Yes

Oh yeah

I know, it's a bit frustrating not to get comments. I got used to it. But there are still a few people here who appreciate the work. And that's exactly why I'm moving on. So, do not take it that hard. Actually, we do everything just for fun, not full-time, right? I hope my weak English is to understand ...

@LAffette II - looks\sounds great - perhaps pm smallg for the script issues.
I usually don't download free stuff now, just prefer to make my own.
You have me curious so will give this one a look tho - Thank You
EDIT: oops bad gateway error - will try later

@Bod. yeah i think there should be a download counter too. But i suspect the views\downloads\thank you's' would definitely put us off making stuff for free. I can imagine how you feel tho, I only put the occasional bit of free media up, but you are prolific at it so rightly peeved with the way it is.

I also feel similar to Laffette, I only do this 3D stuff for fun (little bit addicted to it - lol) and happy to help the ones who do show appreciation for it, as for the rest........

Thanks to all...
Maybe I should have played with open cards right now. Not many are downloading this stuff. I think, for a scary game you can use the thing.

The problem with most forums here are that they are very quiet. I hardly ever visit any but product chat and I'm sure others are the same. I occasionally have a quick look on other sections, as I did yesterday and spotted this one. I was quite... surprised by the box anim. This one would have done better on product chat, but of course some people would probably moan it's on the wrong forum section. Personally, if the forum were mega busy then fine, but it can go days without too much activity here

Oh I noticed after the box anim, I seemed to be transported/pushed into the actual object somehow? I checked the code and saw nothing that looked like it should do that. Not sure if the anim has an issue there? Wondering if you noticed this or is it just on my system? Not a biggie, but thought I'd mention it.

@ DVader
That could be due to the script. J_C has added a script that works fine with me. The original is mine and not particularly useful.

Pretty sure I tried that script as well with the same result. It might be the PP versions fault possibly as that is what I am using currently. There's nothing in either script to move the player on purpose.

Oh....
Now, hopefully, I have the solution to the problem. Set issimobile = 1. Then it should work normally. Alternatively, you can also download the thing again. I changed the fpe.
