Hi,

I am new to GG and I have a model with glowing eyes but in the editor you can see the illumination map working but in test game they don't. When you return to the editor the model has no glowing eyes.....

All textures are in DDS format.

Anyone come across this issue before?

Thanks

Hello!

I think you will have to set the render quality to "highest" for the illumination to work.
Also make sure that the textures are named correctly ( _D , _N , _S , _I )

Hi Wolf,

All the textures are named _D,_N_S_I and all settings are at highest (see image) still no joy though, if I put a static entity in it has illumination but not this animated character.

I see! Are you running the latest x11 or the legacy x9 version?

In the X11 you might have to open the setup.ini and set "pbroverride" from 1 to 0 (do this while GG is not running)

Oh. DX11. Then label your textures:
_color
_normal
_gloss
_metalness
_illumination

Use the apbr_illum shader, and you should be good to go.
