3rd Party Models/Media Chat / AI Gun Wielding Unit's weapon firing sound different from the original weapon - help?

I got a custom unit from the asset store and I changed their default weapon to another custom one from the same seller, I changed the gun sound but that's irrelevant. When I shoot the gun, it sounds like it's supposed to, when they shoot it sounds like it's from Doom or something. It's a really weird three round burst and it's unrecognizable to me from the sound that's supposed to be coming out.

If anyone knows the answer to the problem or where to find the sound that it's pulling from, please share!

You may have to contact the author via the store for advice on this.
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Okay so I did some testing earlier to day and it turns out that it is using the correct sound, the new problem is wondering why it sounds so low quality and off when emitting from an NPC verses when I shoot it. (I know that it's using my replacement and the correct sound because as a test I made it super high pitch to see if there was a difference).

It's nasty audio truncation/distortion when played back in 3D space. (Reason why the 1911 chirps). Recommend posting an issue to github about it. I don't think audio is a high development priority at the moment though.
