I realise this isn't about game making (so int he off topic board), but another of my hobbies is film making. I currently have a documentary in Rode Microphones short film competition, about the small english town of Millom.

If I get 100 votes by the 15th of July (about 2 weeks), then Røde will award me a free VideoMic Pro + (which is a really good microphone)!

Since I don't have a mass social media following, I would appreciate any votes I can get - the film is 3 minutes long.

Yeah - it required an all nigher to complete (in April) and then the internet gave up 30 mins before the deadline so I had to drive to the library and use their internet, got it in with about a minute and a half to spare!!!

(Was like university all over again!)


Yeah, I like cumbria, I think Millom is the less fashionable corner of the lakes (just outside) - it's harder to get to and isn't officially the lakes because it was still an industrial town when the lake district was designated - I think. But it doesn't take long to get into from here, and I really like it!
