I'm having a problem with entity shaders and lightmapping. When using prebaked lighting i'm getting an issue where my entities appear extremely bright when set to highest quality entity shaders. but looks fine when set to medium. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to fix this. I've attached images.
I'm running an Intel Core I7 2600 @ 3.4Ghz , 8GB Ram w/ 20GB Readyboost flashdrive, Ati Radeon 6850 1GB, Windows 10 Home X64.
I've also uploaded my setup and Visuals.ini files in case it's a setting I've got messed up.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I see in your setup.ini that you may have not recompiled the shaders.

forceloadtestgameshaders=0 <---------
pbroverride=0

Also by looking at these two statements, I am wondering if you are using DNS textures or PBR textures?

Please let me know, so we can get this fixed for you.

Thanks for the reply Pirate Myke. After reading your reply I messed around with those settings and got no different results. To answer your question about the shader. As far as I know I'm not using PBR as I haven't used any of the stock PBR assets, nor have I changed the .fx files for any of the entities, I didn't check all of them but the ones that I did either used Entity_Basic.fx OR had no file specified, to which I then pointed them to use Entity_Basic.fx. Also the building in my original pictures is an EBE, so i'm not even sure if the shader for those can be changed or how to do it. Now, I do have an update, and this may be the solution I guess, but i'm hoping not. Anyway, the brightness of my entities seems to be directly related to the sky type setting, The results being most drastic when using bright, daytime skys in conjunction with the High quality entity shader setting. So the new question is, is there a way to get past this issue, as it would be nice to be able to have the player walk into a dark building in the middle of a sunny day and have the outside be bright and the inside be dark. I mean if theres no solution then I guess I can design my project around this limitation, but is not ideal.

Thanks

Oh wow, thanks for the reply Graphix. I tried looking through the forums but didn't see that thread. Good to know i'm not alone on this issue. Guess I chose the wrong time to get into this engine, lol. Well, I guess for now I can just design around this limitation somehow. Hopefully this bug is being worked on since lighting is pretty important. Anyway, thanks for the help. Once I get some some time i'll upload some of my work along with a proper introduction.

Thanks again guys.
