A thought popped up in my head as I was messing around with modeling that may concern some people...
You see, when a GameGuru game is exported as a standalone, the game folder will have all the entities and scripts that the players used to make the game. If the creator was to release the game online for free or a very cheap price, won't the custom assets, store bought assets and the DLC assets be open for other GameGuru users to take to use for their own project, meaning that they won't have to buy the DLC or store assets themselves and that they will get it totally for free or a cheaper price?

The files are saved as in encrypted fashion. Try to open a texture file in a paint program, it will tell you un recognized format.

Model should be in a dbo format that can not be opened either.

Only scripts are not encrypted in this process.

There is a map file in the game folder that could be used to open the map if someone owning gameguru opened it., but they would only get assets that they owned themselves. All other objects would show up as missing.

No, all the files are encrypted, note how the files all have e_ in front of their names in the standalone? That's to show they are encrypted.

To be completely accurate the scripts are not 'encrypted', they are simply saved in a 'pre-compiled' form which means anyone could theoretically steal them and use them in their own games but they would not be able to edit them or modify the way they work (well not easily anyhow as there is no process to convert them back to text format and anyone capable of doing that would be more than capable of writing their own, probably superior, scripts anyhow).

Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!
