Any virus programs blocking any files?
Make an exclude on this folder.
C:\Users\YOUR PROFILE\AppData\Local\Temp

Try setting all the .exe files in the Game Guru root folder to run as admin.

See if that helps.

Try this ...
Firstly make sure you have the latest DX Runtime files installed .
If your happy you have then ...

Navigate to " C:\program files(x86) \ steam \ steamapps \ common \ GameGuru \ _CommonRedist "
In this Directory you will find two folders ... " DirectX " and " vcredist "
Open the " vcredist " and install to see 2010, 2012, 2015 Each folder contains 2 installs for 32 and 64 bit . " Install them all " It doesn't take long. Reboot and then try again ... This is a common fix for that error code

That didn't work for me. The way I fixed it was to uninstall the microsoft.net framework, and then reinstall. Thanks for the help.

LOL ... you wont believe this but that would have been my last suggestion ..
Usually the other suggestions have cured it first and I have never had to get anyone to go that far ..
Good to know that works though
