Anyone here familiar with cross uploading to Unity Asset Store and Unreal Marketplace? I'm working on a batch system for when i create assets for GG they also create bins for upload to Unity and Unreal.

For Unity is PSD the most common texture file type to use? Or should i use the same DDS DXT1 textures like we use in Game Guru?

Unity doesn't fully support DDS textures , so I use PNG. I'm not sure which others are supported, but PNG textures work, so that's what I use.

Very helpful thanks Gtox. I'm going to use PNG's in the same fashion as we use DDS in GG with the _D _S _N stuff. Maybe get into the PBR stuff once i get used to it.

I've not poked around much with Unreal's Marketplace. But one step at a time
