Hi all

Well, I needed a brake from the sci-fi stuff I been working on, and figured I would play with PBR stuff for a bit.

Now having not contributed anything for some time I figured it was time to do just that, and thought OK what to make?

So as I clicked on the test game icon as we all have done soooo many times, I thought now THAT could make a good mascot for GameGuru....

And so here is what I have so far:

So what do you guys think? Would you like this baby Lee?

Is there any friction in space!

No matter round tins must go faster, especially when they have red on them

Reminds me of the "rocket slide" playground I used to go to as a kid, which was eventually torn down. Supposedly it was dangerous all those decades. What's so dangerous about rusty metal and broken fiberglass?

Anyway, nice work!

@granada @MStockton thanks

LoL - I always thought playgrounds were dangerous even when they are new!

Skies are clear enough for take-off!

High poly ones are all but done me thinks. One GG Mascot version, and two for those who may want one in their game: One modern, one Iron-Age - lol.

Will get go back and complete the low poly boxy versions now.

I love it, what a great idea.
HP Pavilion Laptop - AMD A8-4555M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics - 1.6GHz, 8GB Memory, Windows 10 Home, 64-bit Operating System.

I've got something to say - It's better to burn out than fade away.

Thanks @TazMan - has been fun making these things

Haven't quite finished with these yet, but off to Tasmania for a couple of weeks this weekend so it will have to wait now.

Still not sure if they are done right yet, the PBR models in the PP2 are not consistant, some use .dds some use .png, some are .x models, some are just imported via GG (which I hate doing since it is so convoluted - lol).

These rockets are just .x models too until I can work out how to get Bender to export a .fbx model that works correctly in GG -

I noticed many of the models in PP2 are using 2048 textures, even for just a barrel, so not sure why they went that big, the rockets are only using a 1024 texture set and they look OK to me.

So yeah.... but you know: never give up, never surrender!

I was kinda hoping Lee would like to put them in GameGuru so only those who support the GG project can play with them. But so far no input from Lee, or much from anyone really, so will see where it all is when I get back from Tassie.....
