Hi Lee ,
Great stuff is going on again and so was wondering , will we still continue as Beta testers from within game guru on here as before , or , is that being done away with now...
Just asking , only for clarifications sake and to stop the rumours from flying one way or another.

Thx

Nobody has answered you because it has already been answered in the official post.

Yes there will be the same updates through steam we are already getting, live and beta, the only difference GitHub makes is 3rd party programmers can submit their own work for lee to look at and maybe add to his work.

Sure ok. Thx Belidos ,
Pointing me to that post is more efficient than just sprouting words
And
I'm in the beta and haven't seen a word yet on any new betas
And in fact ,
This same question was asked in the beta section also....with no....apparent answer there yet either
And so...since I could not see....anywhere....visibly...see.where a potential answer MIGHT be.....
I took a Chance and asked it here.
And without a refernces from you added to your response here....for me and others like me
The .....answer is not as apparent to others as it is to you.
A truly helpful response in place of criticism would be much appreciated.

Thank you ......at least you responded

I didn't criticize, I answered your question, and told you why he probably hasn't answered, I didn't link it because i'm extremely unwell (flat on my back hooked up to oxygen) at the moment and I'm not in the best condition to search posts for people, but here you go...

Quote: "Don't worry about the quality control aspects, all branch work will be tested by a third party before I even see it, and I will only accept tested and solid changes to go into the master trunk for the Steam builds. Beta, Public Previews and Final Updates will continue as normal on Steam, and I suspect the majority of GameGuru users will never need to see what happens in GitHub land, only that good stuff is happening (at a faster rate). @Belidos : Hope you get well soon, I have a brother who's just got back from the hospital today with one reconstructed knee. He's taking his mind off it by watching a season of a box set (and maybe whiskey)

Thanks guys. Had Flu last weekend, got over the worst of it at the weekend, still felt bad Monday but went to work, took Tuesday off because I'd gotten worse again, then back into work Wednesday most of the symptoms had gone, but still had difficulty breathing and a bad unshakable cough, finally got today off work and went to the docs, to be told to get my backside to the hospital with suspected viral pneumonia, they ran some tests and yes I did have viral pneumonia, but it was in very early stages so can be treated, but its left me with serious chest infection and very sore lungs, so they sent me on my way full of drugs, an oxygen cylinder in one hand and a nebulizer in the other with instructions to rest for a few days. So I'm sitting in bed with my laptop on, playing games and trolling forums

@Lee Hope your brother recovers well from his knee op, had to have mine sorted a few years back because I received a collateral ligament injury when a car hit my bike side on and crushed my knee, so I know how he feels.

I hope you get better soon, Belidos. I didn't realize the flu was as bad over there as it's been over here in the states. They say cases are up 700% over what's normal, not to mention the prevalent strain of the virus is especially nasty this year. Betcha wish you had that false widow bite instead, lol! Take care.

EDIT: And like GraPhiX said, looking forward to that Substance tutorial!

While I haven't had the flu, pneumonia or any nasty things like that this year (which is a miracle in itself due to the fact that as a field tech I am in several homes daily) I have had laryngitis for a few weeks now. A less cool Darth Vader is a pretty accurate description of my voice right now, lol.
