Free Models and Media / Total newb needs help

Hello been watching youtube videos reading tons of information. Just don't have any programing skills I'm trying to do a zombie survival game but need weapons and ive already spent out on steam getting the bonus packs think I'm already at 30 bucks but I did find a couple on the forums cant get them to work so any advice or if anyone can share some. that would be great.

Which weapons and which forum links did they come from?
Zombies dont normally hold weapons out of the box.

Lol no I meant more weapons for the charactor like a knife or a hatchet modern weapons

oh and the weapons I tried came from these forums even if you can recommend a good learning video to help me make them that would be great.

ok, are these for the player or for the AI?

Also which modelling program will you be using?

the player and I'm not sure I haven't ever used a modeling program before what would u recommend for a total begginer

For first person player, you can set a start marker and the left mouse click on it,
In the weapons field on the left, click in the field. A list of weapons you have available will be there.
Choose any of those and that will equip the player with those weapons.

Third person perspective player will only have the weapon the AI is using.

As far as making you own weapons, requires a lot of processes. A steep learning curve and a lot of practice.
Free model programs are Blender, Fragmotion demo version, milkshake 3d, and a few others.

In the docs folder there is a zip file with 3ds max files for the modern weapon that are stock. These can be used as a template for other weapons.
