Hi guys,

maybe you can help me here...

I have this problem in my game, and I dont know why. I Looked at the fpe and it seems to be fine...


This is the house with medium entity details in the tab+tab menu:



And this is the house with high entity detail:


I dont get it.. what is causing this?

@Duchenkuke : Can you send me a small FPM using stock media and two screenshots showing this issue? My first thought is that its shadows, but I will know more when I can reproduce it at this end.
PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM

As you can see, when you use non-stock media, it makes the job of quickly reproducing the issue quite a task. Here is the LOG that describes the failed level load:

Creating a new level with stock media solves this and allows me to quickly reproduce (and fix) the issue.

I think your first though might be right Lee, i've noticed while messing about with The Big Escape that changing entity quality literally turns on and off all shadows on entities for me.

Primary Desktop:
i7 7700,k NV1070 8GB, 16GB 3200mhz memory, 1x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.

Secondary Desktop:
i5 4760k, NV960 2GB, 16GB 2333mhz memory, 1x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.

Laptop:
i3, Intel 4000 series graphics, 6GB memory, 1x 500gb HDD, Win8.1.

Same issues.
Most of my old maps don't work at all in Public Preview. They freeze after a few seconds.
And a couple times, GG even frozen in The Big Escape while editing tabs.
