A simple one level game testing what I have learned in gameguru so far. It is a 1 week challenge for myself so it will be a free game and I hope that explains the poorness in graphics lol. I have created 2 custom characters for the game and 3 rooms of the level. This is the third day of Development. Let me know what you think of what you see so far link to download will be posted here when finished.

Played around a bit with the new build today but also made a lot of progress on the game. I made a script to calculate accuracy, a custom HUD that shows accuracy health and time, also created a script to open vents to release elves on triggers, and another one that closes doors behind you as you progress. I also reduced the distance at which the enemies attack with better animation control. Next is to build more of the level/game and add in some sound clip triggers throughout the level/game. Should hopefully have a new video for you tomorrow.

Oh my lord, this is great. Those snowmen were cracking me up. They're awesome! It's like the right amount of absurdity and terror.
Nice to see people doing deadline based challenges as well. Good stuff!

So after finishing the game and seeing all the problems with the engine mostly how it handles variables but other flaws too i've decided to not release the game because the variable handling is so bad it makes me look like a bad coder(Messed up AI due to it) and i've decided to move onto unity or unreal though i am grateful to GG for it helped me better understand the structure of C# by learning LUA. And i do hope to come back someday but this engine is too early in development without a big enough team i'm scrapping a 8 month project that was near completion for GG this is not an easy decision. However with the results of this quick demo game I'm certain continuing with GG is not the best step forward for me since i know how to code, model, and animate. A video showing the level and somewhat explaining my problems.

If you're leaving anyway could you post the scripts here anyway so I can double check them, in the brief view of them in the video I spotted a few things that didn't quite look right.

There are some known issues with the built in AI where they can stall during path finding , I don't think Lee has found the cause yet, but that doesn't appear to be what you are seeing as they are moving but not animating correctly, it is more likely a subtle script error.
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!
