i am still hoping that my game works at all ... it feels like it´s not lol

well i could not figure out how to make it work.
took the itch.io page offline and i am back at the drawing board.

it quite frustrating that Murmia is so stuck. i have a playable version sitting on my desktop but can´t share it. even if it´s not 100% finished it would be cool to be able to share.

and on top of the crashing standalones there is some weird thing with fog distance in the editor going on now.
i open the level and fog distance is automatically set to 2000 and fog nearest at 3700 no idea why that suddenly has to happen.

wonder if i should just make a full play-through video and leave it at that lol

I have made more than 2 big games with gameguru and I always had problems too. Was able to solve them all sooner or later tho.
what are EXACTLY your issues?

main problem is me ofc - always in my own way

not sure what exactly is the problem with Murmia - sometimes i think it´s cursed lol

basically it is that the standalone runs on my system
but when i zip it with 7zip or winzip and then unpack it doesn't run any more. i can still go until main menu but it crashes during loading
