Wanted to share a really nice scene created in GameGuru and exported to GameGuru Loader, courtesy of Preben (our unofficial community shader expert and developer of GGLoader). It goes to show what can happen when you use completely different graphics for your game, and hopefully something that will happen more as we improve import capabilities in GameGuru.

Does anyone else have videos to share which show GameGuru games using completely different graphics from the stock defaults to create new styles, it would be nice to see them all in one thread for a bit of inspiration.
PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM

Looks Amazing .... So is that Default Terrain or a model ?
I cant see a texture being able to make it look like flat polygons ?

I'm assuming the only thing Game Guru was used for here is the terrain mesh? Everything else in AGK?

Looks great, very different style! I'd be interested to see the "raw" scene in GameGuru for comparison.

Thanks.

Belidos: i dont say anything interesting anyway, also i cant help myself when i hear 8bit tracks it need to be laud

synchromesh: Models.

Teabone: Everything is made in GameGuru ( except snow , i will also convert snow for GG only , when we get particles ) , i imported the models using GemeGuru importer, designed everything in GameGuru , and just clicked convert/run in GameGuru Loader ( well i did adjust the colors in GG Loader). So everything is looking the exact same in GameGuru. See screenshots.

xCept: Raw attached in screenshots

I did not adjust the colors in GameGuru to look the same as in video ( i set the colors in GG Loader for this scene ) , but it look 100% the same when running in GameGuru.

This is using the latest DX11 beta , so i hide all the great new stuff in the screenshots, I dont want to ruin the WOW effect for you , when Lee release the new version

best regards Preben Eriksen,

Looks great and I'm wondering ... if you use models and turn the terrain off does that give better FPS in this case ?

synchromesh: did not try it here everything is low poly using only one texture, so not needed on desktop , but if i put it on my old slow mobile it will give a nice boost without terrain

I've got something to say - It's better to burn out than fade away.

Thanks.

Another sample using 330+ imported FBX objects. Displays quick object placement ( for fun only ), so be prepared

Not sure what color settings to use for this level ? Going to use the level to test some new functions
best regards Preben Eriksen,

That looks great

Are you using the GG snapping method with placing the entities?
