Are they 16bit mono ?
Try saving them in that format .

Not sure if this is helpful but soundatplayer.lua is not used by "zones". You apply that to an entity. For zones you use soundinzone.lua.

Actually it does and works very well ... It also destroys itself once the file is played which is handy

@SweetKenny
Try the sound file attached and let me know if it works for you .. It Should be perfect ..

Hi All,

I am happy to say I got it... When I recorded my sound dialogues in Cubase I did them all in a Stereo format and some of them did work as a stereo file (16 bit 44100khz wav.) but some not. sooooo as a fast and easy convert I used Audacity to convert them to a mono wav. file not one would work for me. I got in touch with Synchromesh here in this forum and sent him the files and he converted me a Test file and it worked. it got me thinking what did he do that I didn't do? so I loaded my file's in to Cubase and converted them to a 16 bit, 44100khz wav. file and boom!!! they all work.
Synchromesh saved me a lot of work and he's to be congratulated on his help . if he didn't send me that test file I'd still be there now.
Thank You Synchromesh for all your help and kindness
