Hi guys ,i had a go at texturing my one shot gun.not great but its getting there.

That looks really good Dave is that from Quixel ? How are you finding it ?

To be honest a bit of a pain,being a plugin it can get realy slow and crashes now and then.I had substance painter for a while and might go back to it,i no it runs a lot faster and its standalone.

What version of Photoshop are you using with it I have CS5 on my laptop and that constantly crashes Quixel the CC2017 only crashed once and i think that was down too Bandicam.

I might invest in Substance Painter too just waiting to see what Belidos's workflow is like.

It's my birthday next week so may treat myself lol

I am going to do it, but probably won't be until next weekend now, not only am I still suffering from flu, I've just trod on my headset, that's one Logitech headset that will never be used again, bummer cos I loved that headset. Just ordered a new headset but I can't get the same one for love nor money, so had to settle for a Logitech G231 Prodigy, but won't get it for a few days.

Hope it's as good quality as the old one.

Primary Desktop:

i am using CS5 to and its saposed to run ok with that.Another thing with substance is its all right in front of you. Quixel is slow and not updated often,i sapose that's while always 40% of

I can only wear lightweight ones and i keep walking away with them still on,broken loads.If i wear heavy ones i feel sick after a while.
