Oh sorry m8 you'll like this its really good for decimating takes 20 secs just sign in with your microsoft account to download also some good tuts on you tube

https://www.simplygon.com/

Think another one thats worth mentioning is Autodesk Character Generator (i still use this) no messing about decimating, rigging etc etc just set up an account make your toons run em through fbx2gg and your done its alittle limited but you can edit the .dds files to make variations, check out my "Galaxy police"

oops just realised this should be in the tools section if you spot this guys please move it to the right place
thanks

Looks really good, only issue i see is that the version that's free is no-commercial only, and with it being micro$oft I just know they're going to be strict on that, a commercial licence appears to be $25k lol.

@ Belidos http://www.gamefromscratch.com/post/2016/10/26/SimplyGon-Announces-Free-Indie-License-and-UE4-Installer.aspx
free for indie users you pay 2% if your game makes 25k per quater revinue (doubt that'll effect us lol)

@Granada think you may have to log in via you email Dave i had to the second time then it was fine

Hmn, might want to look deeper into this. That is an old article that links to a pricing page that no longer exists, more recent articles i was looking at last night state that it is royalty free for personal or non-profit use only. Simplygon.com just says Royalty Free, which is really vague because Royalty Free can mean a lot of different things depending on context.

Aye very true I've noticed though that some of the more complex funtions in the free version are not avaliable e.g you get 3 tools in this version, 2 kinds of decimation and some mesh repair tools so maybe this is why the others are locked? still for me i only use it for decimation atm and have only really needed to do it with 1 model so far.
