DEACTIVATE**** SORRY

Hey guys, I have searched the forums in order to learn more about how to light a level properly. I stumbled accros boltactiongaming's blog and learned some interesting things about gameguru there.

Reshade is nothing new to me, but I want to ask you if anyone of you managed to deactivate the welcome message at the beginning?
I just want to get rid of it.

I don't think you can, if it's the same reshade as i saw a discussion about in another forum some time ago, then it's there for a reason. the reason being that the usage terms of reshade are that it's not to be used in a commercial game without permission from the reshade author, so if you want it gone you have to negotiate permission from him and he will send you a version that doesn't have it, or something like that. I might be wrong and their might be a different piece of software called reshade that i'm getting mixed up with though.

Laptop:

No you didnt mix up anything, you're right.

Actually, I have the permission from both creators. I asked them early 2017 I think.
I didnt ask about a special version though. I also think they would not do it..

Sadly, I really believe there is no fix for that.

Reshade is open source now - *IF* you have/get permission you could recompile the binaries without the message.

Also a lot (probably all) of the post processing can be replicated in the GG shaders - some are more difficult to do than others - which ones are you looking for, or are you just after all to experiment or give choice?

I think I read Ertlov got permission to use reshade commercially - he might me able to help you too.

Cheers.

Yeah I should talk with him, you're right.

I just want the gausian anamflare, lensdirt, bloom, tonemap, and the sharpening effect.
But since it's open source now.... Interesting. Thank you.
