Need to put orange stickers on them. According to my uncle in Perth, their version of safe sex is putting an orange sticker on the roos that kick back

The only problem is I just don't see kangaroos as threatening ... They wouldn't just attack for no reason would they ?
How about a Skippy script where they just wander around minding their own business and run away when you get to close .
Just a thought

hi synchromesh,
yeah thats is also cool.. the script does that now also a bit.. you can adjust how close you can come to them before attacking.
It is set now to a basic value.. maybe set it very close before they attack..

You would be surprised, kangaroos can be very territorial, and when they get angry they can be extremely nasty, especially if threatened, cornered, or they have a joey in their pouch. Tourists are warned that their hind legs can disembowel opponents such as other kangaroos or other animals so they should be considered dangerous to people on foot, especially if they are approaching the animal too closely or scare it by accident. They're not the sweet fuzzy animals most people think they are

@synchro as harry says, currently if you turn the view range down (in properties panel) they will be less observant of the player but they will still respond (a bit) if hurt or shot at (likely to be quite odd behaviour if they are blind though) as they are scripted to be hostile.
i will add a toggle setting for timid mode though, seems like a good idea.
edit: new script sent to harry.

*warning; animal abuse?*

or adjust the view range property of any kangaroo to between 1~49 and only they will flee, allowing you to keep some that will fight back and others that will flee, from within the same script.
