I've been using them in my sci fi skyscrapers Dave to decorate with as on the galaxy map you probebly will enter quite a few of these which have 6 large apartments on stories 2, 3, and 4 and the ground floor for maybe some shops etc but didnt want the same pictures on the walls for each they look really nice on the walls of say modern and scifi buildings. 25 to date but im going to do batches of 25 until i have no duplicate pics in the project and I'm out at the weekend with the cameras doing some more and maybe some sound recordings

Thanks m8 heres a looksee of a few of them in my newly built skyscraper1 on the galaxy main map this is one of the 4th floor apartments (not quite decorated yet) took me 4 days to build and get correct :/ This will be the player apartment where you return to to pick up quests/messeges etc its kind of turning out to be alittle bit like Bladerunner still lots to do as i need to replicate this scraper for other buildings you enter on quests 4 other large buildings yet to make "Exo Corp", "The Police Station", "The Nightclub" last one im not sure about yet and 4 other smaller maps with areas like "China Town" ish type themes (not got that far yet lol) think maybe will try a sci fi frame around them but they look nice enough

honkey boy that looks really good, can I suggest you tone the contrast/saturation down on your pictures before you import them to allow them to blend a bit more

Very nice HonkeyBoy. This is actually something i've been planning to do for ages, i was going to get together a ton of real life photos, run them through gimp and give them a painting effect, then in blender give them picture frames. I just never got time for the photographing part, i made some frames, but that was as far as i got.

Primary Desktop:

Laptop:

@ Graphix will have a look at that m8 but tbh i think its my tab tab settings havent got to sorting them out yet :/
@ Belidos cheers m8 used paint.net for those for the effects on Whitby Abbey, the flowers are using the macro lenses on the digi SLR. I always have at least 1 camera with me when i go out nowadays got a nice tiny Olympus SZ10 which fits in your pocket and produces some real nice results, sounds weird but i kinda look forward to the winter months as you can get some really dramatic shots out in the fields so should have a nice library to use.
I know theres a sci fi frame somewhere in the entity bank so will dig that out to see what they look like framed.

I remember playing entropia universe Harry they actually sold real life art in game and in rl and had in game galleries in which to sell them, it was crazy the prices these things sold for lol i do it for fun tbh i could stock GG with hundreds of pictures that would fill peoples games with content, stay tuned m8 im showing these off on the newly built galaxy level. they look pretty sweet The new "steel" set will i hope look really cool e.g close ups of engines, wheels etc got enough nature atm, these actually do liven up your GG levels though kinda give them some rl feel i have modeled the frame now as well which looks cool its basic but it works.
