I wasn't sure if it should be this forum section or the third party forum, so i thought i would place it here as it is mainly about scripts (mods please move if it's in the wrong place).
Anyway ...
I've been running an idea through my mind for some time now, and this is in the early stages, but i'm heavily leaning towards hosting a repository/searchable database for community created scripts, an easy way to search and find scripts.
How would it look and work?
The easiest way to explain would be to show.
Some years ago i built and run a guild repository for the MMO "The Secret World", it was a website where guild (cabal in TSW) leaders could submit an article for their cabal, and a place where players could search for the guild that was right for them.
You can find this website still up (but closed to submissions) here:
http://swgrp.co.uk/network/tsw/
As you can see it's quite versatile and has plenty of category/tag options to search from.
What i would like from you guys is to ask, would something like this (adjusted for gameguru scripts of course) be of use to you guys?
What categories/sub categories/tags would be needed?
And, has anyone got any suggestions for features?
