Hi guys
Traying to resize markers from nodes the affected nodes were down when LMB, becoming unselectable and the icon dissapears as in the pic below.

Someone know how can I to delete them?

I've tried locking the closest entity with not to avail.

I was working in interior so don't notice the issue and I've saved the level, now level goes slow and I think it is because these markers.
I don't want to move all the closest entities plus all the trigguers, small entities, lights, etc.

Hi 3com.

Try putting down a new waypoint marker near those nodes, then delete the new waypoint marker and then the nodes.

I think I had the same problem once, and that worked for me.

@ Solar
Thanks mate for the tip, unfortunatelly it works with the checkpoint, but the trigger maker has their node buried in the ground, it makes just unselectable, therefore almost impossible to delete it.
Ty again.

I've tried with not to avail, the only thing I got was to put the node a terrain level, take into a count it is not a waypoint but a trigger zone, theorically you can not delete the trigger zone nodes, just select it via the icon or resize it via nodes, but the icon doesn't exist.
I mean the white circle (please see the pic below).

what happens if you temporarily move triggerzone.fpe out of \entitybank\_markers, then load your level then save it as something else, move the fpe back to _markers then e load your level, as long as you don't move or delete the .DBO file you should be able to move the nodes, I just tried it and it worked.

if you want to remove the triggerzone you may have to move the DBO and any other trggerzone.* if you delete it verifying your files will put a new one back

I did, and just get the triggerzone at ground level but semi-buried on the ground.
So I decided lower the terrain till I got the end node, and it is a very end of the map, in fact it is out of the map and therefore unselectable.

Thanks you for the tip.

I've moved out all the trigger zone files from -Marker folder, load my level and the trigger zone are still there.
GG report trigger marker as missing files, anyway I've saved level, close GG, move back all the trigger files to _Marker folder, run GG and load my level, and the trigger zone are still there.

Is there any way to edit map file>and delete all the trigger zone entities?

you can rename the FPM to .ZIP and edit the map.ent but unfortunately I have never been able to get it back into GG, it complains about not being created in gg I think the headers get messed up when saving back to FPM

copy your .FPM file to your desktop change the extension to .ZIP open it with WinRAR or 7zip not winzip (WinRAR works best) you don't zip it up you change the file extension to .ZIP in the zip file you extract there should be a small file called MAP.ENT open that with notepad it lists all the entitys used in your map you are looking for _markers\triggerzone

Thanks mate for the kind help.
Unfortunatelly this is a mistery I'm unable to understand.
I did all you said, when open MAP.ENT file, there not _markers\triggerzone entities there, just lights and checkpoint markers; so I've change the extension again to fpm, run GG>load the fpm file and surprise!!! the _markers\triggerzone are still there.

These trigguer zone won't abandone my level. LOL

Thanks GraPhiX but it has a lot of customized entities.
Anayway I've got!!!, just delete all the trigguer zones I've in the level, and the bad triguer zone dissapears like magically.
I've place again all the trigguer zones to my level and save it.
case closed.
