When I am in either Grass Painting Mode or Texture Painting Mode, is there anything that can tell me what each one of those textures is (maybe a text document or a pdf or anything), and if so where would it be located?

yes there is, I created one a while back, you will find it in your GameGuru folder under docs i.e

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Guru\Docs

You can actually right click on the texture terrain titles to change them to whatever you like.
