Indeed.

It must be very CPU dependant then. You have a powerful CPU but an absolutely sub standard graphics card. Getting decent FPS on GG with this card: only on lower than low settings.

That has a passmark of 2280. I can't remember what the minimum requirement is for GG, but it's around that, I think, so that's at the low end. Anyway, GG is in a class all by itself, apparently, when it comes to graphics cards. I don't know why it's so demanding while other engines don't seem to be (I won't compare a development environment to a published, fully optimized game, they're not the same). That's why I got the GTX1080. No excuses from TGC if it runs slow, lol.

Gameguru is so bad at everything performance wise, I have an AMD A8 gtx960 pc which runs everything I have thrown at it with good framerate and performance apart from gameguru, i get good enough framerate with it but the fan on the gpu works overtime and the loading time for maps in the editor, test games and stand alone games are horrendous, I gave up on Wolf's game because I got killed too easily and with only having 1 life and low starting health I had to wait ages for it to reload every time I got killed.

This are the system requirements

and for a good experience you need to hit at least the recommend settings.

This are the recommend settings for Metro Redux:

and you get 55 fps here. This are very low standards for today. Yes we need some performance but even if we will get, your graphic card is too bad.

Sounds good!

I lock this until then as we pretty much established the culprit of your low frame rate.

@imothep85 : Can you send me the demo you made in Unreal so I can do a side by side comparison with the new DX11 engine I am porting to. It would be good to compare geometry/texture loads to see how close I am to a AAA engine, and also see if I can state the new update helps in situations like yours.
