I was wandering if it would be possible to have a transparent/vapor looking character?

I'm making a undead style game and would like to have interactive ghost/spirits/shadows (the latter would be perfect). I'm not sure if this is something I would have to do "in game" through the GG engine or would i have to use a certain model set up to do it.

Any insight would be very helpful.

Thanks.

I think that is possible with alpha channels in the texture and using some type of shader to allow for that.

By the way here is a pretty cool looking spirit , rolfius made a while back

There was also a ghost character that starts out inactive as a pile of cloth, then when you get close it rises up and becomes a ghost that attacks you, i think it was made be the super awesome Rolfy too, but i can't for the life of me find where it is now.

Just as i figured it would have to be a model and not a in-game setting. Thanks for the feedback.

Plus that ghost looks amazing, but wont fit the world I'm building.
