I made a socond post since the first one for some reason has a problem and nothing is appearring and I can't even delete it. Anyway, I want to animate game guru guns to practice before try making my own guns, I import them using fragmotion but besides the fact that the models get "reflected" the bones appear to be all over the place and I cant even make my own rig since the arms are the same model as the weapons and it can't be deleted in oreder to make the bones and the rig from scratch, has anyone got a solution to this??

I have been having difficulty trying to import and animate weapons in Fragmotion also... It looks like it's a difficult process...

I would love to see a good thorough answer to this issue...

Hello ladasgr,

Please tell us about your progress, because people like me are interested to see how it turns out. I'm interested because I have had a lot of problems with stuff like this also.

Happy gaming...

Well somehow I managed to get the to work in 3ds max, I used bsp's ww2 pack from the original FPSC, since it was open source, I didn't like its animations(no offence to him since I;m not even an animator myself), and I really like the ww2 era, still the rig remains a pretty big problem, it is really akward and trying to create new bones using a biped also resulted in failure since the model is to weird and I'm constantly encountering collision problems, I did manage to do some animations using the original rig, although it was a pain in th a**, but without things like biped and better bone structure the animations weren't good enough, still I managed to do some. Then when I tried to get the model back to fragmotion in order to convert it an error occured and I couldn't open the fbx file. That happened every single time I tried. I did a bit of searching and I found out that many people have the same problem but still no solution. So I guess I have to wait for the Dx11 update which I think that will start using fbx files too.

If you have 3ds Max then in the documents folder is a max file with the Game Guru weapon rig in it.

GameGuru Weapon MAX Files.zip
