I looked at the jetpack's Lua script and it doesn't seem to control its mechanics so I'm guessing it's hardcoded...?

If so, it's a shame because it seems like a logical place to start if you want to make a little flying game. I would like to modify the jetpack to maybe make a plane.

Has anyone managed to get piloted planes to work yet?

Take a look to function gameplayercontrol.jetpack() in gameplayercontrol.lua file.
