I haven't seen hide nor hair of that little imp. I do own the Fantasy DLC Pack? I also have the most current upgrade of 12 May. I must not have something set right with steam?

He's kinda cute I got him by just issuing a "Download Items from store" run.

Thanks yrkoon, I just now tried going through that route with no joy. I bought the pack through steam as a DLC on 19 May 2015. If I have to buy the pack through the store I guess I will have to do without it. He's really being impish towards me for sure.

Well, I also bought the pack through steam, as far as I know, you cannot even buy TGC packs through the store, so, luckily, that should not be the problem.
Also, my store user is not the same as the steam user and my steam profile is not linked to the store (as far as I know ), so, even that should not be the problem.

If the download said "Nothing to download" , turn to support.

If it DID download one or more items, you might want to double check the "Characters folder" in "Fantasy Pack", since "Imp Ally" is shown left of the original "Imp", so there is a (small) chance you might have overlooked it.

You might also try to download one of the free items from the store, in order to see whether the store is working at all for you.

Good luck.

As far as I know its in the Fantasy pack on steam as advertised ....
If you don't have it you could try unticking the fantasy pack in your steam library ( this will uninstall it )
Then tick the box again to reinstall the pack and I'm guessing it will have the Imp Ally now included..

Just for clarity, the Golden Imp was part of a free update to the Fantasy Pack DLC and should be automatically downloaded if you are running the latest build, the beta or the public preview. It will not auto-update if you have selected the build named 'public-release-2017.05.12' which exists if you wanted to revert your version to a release date.

I don't know if this helps anyone, but I was initially looking in the regular Characters/Fantasy, not the Fantasy Pack /Characters!

I have it - so it definitely updates automagically. It's found in the FANTASY PACK and then CHARACTERS.

It's called IMP ALLY.

Can the imp's Lua scrimp be attached to a modern day character? If you create multiple copies might you create a unit of allied soldiers?

You could always just give it a shot and see what happens.

it looks like it but you need to change the animation frames in the script here

there's also a fair bit of speed tuning in the script so you may want to play around with the lines that look like this

Once DirectX 11 is put to bed, and the voting board keeps Ally Logic at the number one spot, I will be putting said graft into making sure you can use ally logic for all characters (be they melee or weaponised bots). I added the Imp just in case some users want to experiment with the idea

Hey Lee, it's been a long time. Looks like GG has been slow but sure. That's how I've been physically and mentally.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Sorry that I might have caused a stir as I actually missed seeing the new imp. I guess I was expecting it to be called something different but it's not surprising I missed it. However, it is good to know about unchecking an installed DLC and then checking it again. I'm sure I'll forget about that down the road.

That would be cool if one of the space or even the regular soldiers could have a script like that?
