How would i go about increasing the size of a gun model? I've worked out how to increase the size of the gun entity itself, so in the editor and test game it's larger before pick up, but as soon as I pick it up it's back to the original size. Is it possible to make a held picked up entity larger? (so the gun is bigger once picked up and being used)

I think you would have to resize the hud to,also scale the animation to suit.as the pickup and hud are two different models. (Not completely sure but I think this is how it works).

This is one of the hud x files

The mesh you pick up is of course not the same mesh you will later hold in hands. The hands and the gun are the same model.

To modify the gun you hold you will have to go to files/gamecore/guns and edit the HUD.x file.

Edit it in what way Wolf? I'm unfamiliar with a lot of modelling stuff, so not sure what I'd need to edit

You would have to scale the hud x up in something like fragmotion, the pic above is from fragmotion.you would also have to edit animation to suit the model or when you pick up the weapon it will revert to the old size .hope this helps.

You can also just change the weapon FOV slider (lower value = bigger) to make the weapon take up more screen space. If the weapon is tiny in the player's otherwise OK-sized hand, then you will need to edit the weapon as these guys are talking about.
