It is possibel to fake volumetric lights, because volumetrics lights doesn't exist inside gg?

Is that not the LightRay effect currently available (as they seem to come from the sky):

PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM

oh yeah i see for exterior light i can use the lightray of the engine, but i mean faking volumetric light for example for interior spots lights, like here:

Yeah, sure! Just use textured 3d models like they do in the source engine or even in fpscreator.











Now, all of these are my work and I made these quite some time ago... so I did know a lot less what I was doing than I do now.
These are also made in FPSCreator.

If you google "fake volumetric light" you find stuff from people that are far more experienced than I am and a bunch of tutorials on how its done.
These are basically just textured meshes without collision. Thats really it. If you know what you are doing, its hard to tell the difference.
