This may be a silly question, but on the model import screen, what does Geo Twizzle, Center Mesh, and Cull Mode do?

Geo Twizzle - flips the model for you to the top up position.
Center mesh - will center your imported mesh to the center of the screen in the importer.
Cullmode - will allow 2 sided planes to be rendered in the engine without seeing threw them.

They are special flags given to the internal FBX importer to handle FBX models that are a little dodgy. There are so many tools that produce FBX files now that all kinds of data can arrive into the importer. These flags correct some of the common issues I discovered as I imported a selection of them. The new DX11 importer, however, should be a little more robust.
