I've been seeing these things all over the valley for the past year or so, and did not realize Waymo was Google, even though they were identical to the Google cars. I also didn't connect the dots that they showed up at the same time the Google cars disappeared, lol. Intel has them running all over the place as well. Anyway, this place is a great test bed, since it's huge and with few exceptions, a perfect grid. Just thought I'd share, the future is upon us, or the end is nigh!
