I lot of work going on in the background by Lee this month, results are showing.i think this was just what Was needed after all the new additions .a good code tidy up resulting in better software.i think this should happen every now and then to tidy up after updates.

Moving the AI to a second core seems to have done wonders as well for the consistency and fluidity of AI behavior. For one thing, the default enemies now actually flinch consistently when non-fatally shot on my computer, which was always very hit and miss in the past. It is the little things like that are critical for a game "feeling" good, IMO.

Great improvements on the AI all round, very pleased with that.
Some better FPS and loading times also seem better.
The editor has lost much of the lag it picked up over the last updates.
General feeling that there has been a lot of small improvements and tweaking.
Nice job, Lee.
its like deja-vu, but all over again, again

Thanks all, plenty more performance related things to come. As no-one is screaming too loudly about missing functionality, I have that time I need to give the engine a good spring clean and bring in some of the optimizations I have been thinking about for some time now. Fear not, more features on the way too, but it's nice to be able to switch the engine up a gear
