Hi There

Is there anyway to pick up a wooden crate and throw it say into water and for it to float or sink. If anyone can shed any light on this matter I would be very grateful.

Smallg wrote a script that you can assign to a box/crate/any dynamic entity that will allow the player to pick it up, but not throw it. Unfortunately water physics have not yet been programmed into Game Guru so it won't float in water, just sink.

Carry Object script:

Actually if you set the box \ crate to active ( Dynamic ) and set the physics weight to around 20 they will float and the physics work well in water when you shoot them.

I remember this was possible in FPSC now. I think it was inspired by Half Life 2.
